Time tracking

Optera offers a time tracking system for analysis and invoicing purposes. The system allows you to enter time worked on each backlog item by selecting an account.

Customers

A customer represents an actual client or department of a company. It groups together one or more accounts for filtering and analysis purposes.

Accounts

Every time entry includes an account and a backlog item. Accounts are used to group working hours. They are linked to a customer.

Work log

Each work log entry includes the date, an account, a comment and the working time.

Analysis and extraction

In the menu Organization > Work Log, you can analyze hours by filtering them by date, member and account, and grouping them by member, account, backlog item and by date, month or year.

This screen also lets you export hours as an Excel workbook or CSV file.

My work

In the user menu, a My work option allows each user to consult their hours and apply filters and groupings.
